Details:
The translation undertaken by Victor Khinkis and Sergei Horuij is the first Russiaa translation of the entire novel. It was begun by Khinkis in the early 1970s and, following his death in 1981, was continued by his friend and colleague Horuij (Khoruzhii). Publication was impossible until 1989, when parts of the translation appeared in Ino
stranna Literatura. In 1993 one of the new publishing houses, Respublika (Republic), finally released the complete Uliss.
