Details:
Oleksandr Terekh had made attempts to
translate “Ulysses” in the Soviet Union era. Thus, in 1966 his first
Ukrainian translation was published, but it was incomplete. Due to the
censorship of that time, it was impossible to make a full translation of
Ulysses and only episodes 4, 6 and 13 were published at that time.
